    Default Fletching With Turkey Feathers...

Youngun's primitive post was great and came at a time where I'm building up my season supply of giggin' sticks. So while I was in the shop this morning I let the camera roll while I was processing some turkey primary wing feathers for fletching. If you're interested in processing and using your own feathers hopefully this will give you some guidance on where to start...

that's a cool process and I'd like to see some more videos on building arrows

I'm guessing your goal is to generate some followers with these videos? I'll offer my opinion of what I look for when watching an online instructional.
All I want is the meat and potatoes of the subject matter at hand, I'm interested in the equipment being used and the most efficient process. You talked about you had already sorted through the arrows but you didn't elaborate on how you determine which feathers make the cut vs, the ones that don't. I'd like to have heard more about that. If I sit down to watch an instructional I want it info-packed in a time appropriate video, after watching I felt like the main points could have been thoroughly covered in about 5min. I'm not trying to be rude and it's hard not sound like a butthead with those comments but I'm assuming you want some feedback so that you can tailor these videos to appeal to as many people as possible

Not rude at all. Thanks for the feedback. After I hit publish I realized I did leave some important points like the ones you mentioned uncovered. I’m going to try and do a second video today covering the actual fletching process and will cover the feather selection at the beginning. Thanks for the constructive criticism. It’s welcome and appreciated.

Class 5 surgical skills and dexterity. Called "Palming your scissors."

Way easier than changing light bulbs apparently.

    That’s mo better!

How quick can you put together 1/2 dozen arrows? Is there any cost advantage in the long run after you get the equipment or is it just something you enjoy doing and it doesn’t really save or cost any extra?

Stay tuned. I’ll cover all that when we start fletching.

    Thanks man.
