    Default Shrooms and Shrimps

    Been finding a ton of chanterelle mushrooms and decided to try something other than the typical "on steak" recipe.
    Made a butter and garlic, chanterelle and roe shrimp pasta. Twas damn good.

    Looks great.

    Care to share any tips pn what to look for to find chanterelles?

    Seems like all the mushrooms I see are the giant ones that are begging you to kick them.

    Lower lying oak trees tend to have them more.

    Man that looks good.
    Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

    That looks delicious.

    Calibogue adds some red pepper and cream to something similar... it almost makes me want him back across the street. We still talk about that dinner
