    Default Fishing bucket...

...for bank fishing. I've been using these buckets for years when bank or surf fishing. I've given 3-4 of them away to kids I encounter when fishing. They love 'em.
On the previous versions I cut the PVC about 2" taller than the bucket. I cut this one flush with the top so I can use the bucket to sit on. I like the longer PVC so I can hang stuff off the sides.
I thought some of you guys could use a few of these around the house.

Let some slack in the line and take the bow out your rod.

And put those topwater plugs on some baitcasters

Cut a slit in a pool noodle, slap a little silicone inside and glue them to the top of the bucket. Makes it easy to fill with water if need be, by tying a rope to it and tossing it in. The noodle will float it back to you, but more importantly, your ass will thank you after sitting on it for 3 or 4 hours.

Back to the buckets. I'm a poor man, can't afford a glitter boat, dont really consider myself a "bass fisherman" even though I've caught a few. But I do like to fish for anything that swims and make the best of the little boat that I have.
Between the fishing bucket and a few milk crates I've figured a way to organize my gear that might be helpful to other small boat guys.
Instead of piling your rods up on top of each other like this in your boat

a couple of buckets and milk crates keeps your gear organized and easier to use

I thought maybe some of you other small boat guys would be interested.

Nothing wrong at all with a small boat, I’ve caught more fish on the lake in 14-16’ Jon boats than I ever had in fancy glitter boats

With that rigged as it is, I'd have a lure in my ear in less than a minute.

And it can double as an outdoor toilet

Some effort has been taken to mitigate the risk. I try to keep lures with multiple treble hooks in the rod holders closest to the gunnel.
I also have these fancy lure protectors made out of sunglasses cases from the $1 bin at Family Dollar.

Hook the lure onto the bottom guide then wrap the line above the lure around the other guides a couple wraps. That'll keep the rods from getting tangles with each other and if the lure gets loose from the guide, it's still trapped by the wraps.

The way those carolina rigs are sitting, the weights will bang against the rod with every wave/bump. That will cause a weak spot especially on a graphite rod.

i got not issue with any of this.
I'm just glad to see a spinning reel and a wopper plopper.
your bucket is a bit over-engineered for me, though (sorry, PB).

Psssh Yeti aint even the top of the line bucket anymore. You haven't heard of the Huck bucket yet. I saw some up in the outterbanks at a tackle shop and laughed out loud when I saw the price tag. Shoot you can buy 3 yeti buckets for the price of one of these. Let it be known that I own neither a yeti or Huck bucket.
