Buy Glenn's SeaArk. It's a 1542 with side console and live well.

We've had 3 guys and a 10 1/2' gator in it and it toted it just fine.

And I wouldn't trade a thing for my 1548DK SeaArk. It's been from Edisto to MO and has been put through about everything you could throw at it. I have a CMC PT35 on it and it'll trim right out and rides really good. Super solid.

Asking out of curiosity, no way I'd ever spend $20k + on a metal boat.
I’ve seen a few personally that had issues and heard a bunch of stories. I haven’t paid a ton of attention because like you said I would never pay that much for an aluminum boat even if I lived in a state that actually had ducks.
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

Another question...how much trouble is it to get a used boat registered if it was bought in another state??
