    Default Welded Boats

It's probably been discussed, but I can't find it with a search.

Anyway, if a fella were looking for an all welded 14-16ft aluminum boat, which should be looking to for the best ride?? Also, please feel free to point out other aspects of welded aluminum boats that make one superior to another.

    Thanks.

Best ride available, hands down, is an older model Xpress hyperlift. Good luck finding one. Triton made a similar hull but wasn't near as responsive or dry.

What years are we talking about??

And, DrDuck, I really like the Triton Ambush 16, but they are out of production also.

It may be helpful to know that I want the boat for fishing and want remote steering.

best part about owning a prodigy is getting to take a semi annual road trip to get the cracks fixed....
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

I've seen that mentioned a few places now. Are they that bad at cracking?

Asking out of curiosity, no way I'd ever spend $20k + on a metal boat.

I don't do FB, so I won't be able to see that one.

I like my Havoc for what I do with it. Not a big water crossing boat at 1553 but very comfortable in the river and creek.

I bought a 1542 War Eagle about a year ago, and have used the hell out of it. I love it.
