I think Tinks is synthetic correct. It isn't banning all scents, just the real thing like Code Blue and such. Damn I have a whole bottle of the expensive crap I can't use now. Is there a list they've put out with the "banned substances"?

I quit using deer scent because it was giving me bad heartburn and started to stain my teeth.

Corn is portable.......oak trees and scrapes are not.

Acorn trees really, use the words "oak trees" in public next time.

What does portable have to do with it ? It’s about the concentration of deer. You know how many bucks will use a single scrape ? I have trail cam pics of at least 5 buck on the same scrape in 2 days

Seems like, at the very least, don't use gravity feeders and troughs until this is over with...

I do indeed think a broadcast spreader presents less risk than a corn pile or gravity feeder or trough. Mineral blocks might also be a bad idea.

We will be getting some real information from biologists in states who have been through this cycle soon. For all I know, the spread is inevitable and taking measures to slow it down will just prolong the pain...
