    Default Nascar ain't dead

For you guys that have given up on it- you are missing some awesome racing.
Nascar had a meeting with the drivers before the season and told them if you want to be rich race car drivers- you better get on the wheel and stay on it the entire race. And the drivers have responded in spades.
This is one of the best seasons I have watched in decades, 3 wide and 4 wide all the time, banging and pushing and sliding sideways from the green flag to the checker.
    Get you some and enjoy.

It looks like they spent the offseason watching Dale and Davey, Cale and Jaws, and Days of Thunder.

Pretty good finish. Kurt was owed one. Good racing between brothers.

Have to admit the races I have sat down and watched were very good.

Still just do not sit down and watch many of them though

Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

i haven't watched it much in 6-7 years, but i will agree, most of the races i've watched so far this year have been worth it.

NASCAR is dead. And now that Hyundai wants to get in on the action, it's really dead.

NASCAR didn't die with Dale. Dirty racing died with Dale. He was the last of the old school racers. None of these new kids know anything about rubbing and racing. There was a time when Dale, Tim, Terry, Ricky, Cale, Darrell, Richard, Neil, and Bobby didn't care about points. They just wanted to win every Sunday. They would sit in the pits on Saturday night around a fire, passing a bottle around, and then put each other into the wall to gain a spot without even thinking twice.
Add NASCAR's corporate greed, closing down southeast tracks and expanding west with cookie cutter tracks disappointed fans. And what corporate sponsor wants to see their 6 figure car going around the track and smashed up?

The new aero package on the cars have made them much easier to drive. Believe it or not there’s a good bit contact and decent racing lately.
