    Default Jones Gap Run Event

Hurricane cancelled the event last year. Anyone attending?

That's disappointing. Bears could have been great motivation. I was gonna load down a back pack with honeybuns and oreos.

I remember in scouts we hiked that trail. An assistant scout master who was out of shape was with his son and fell behind the troop. Trail was pretty well marked but they ended up getting lost and didn't make it back to camp until well after dark.

Is the trail wide enough for a John Deere Gator?

No, but a 4 wheeler can get around pretty good. I will have cold beer and homemade peach ice cream at the top.
