    Default Dnr boats

Was at Wateree the other day and saw the fellers wearing green britches go after a boat and they got on plain fast as hell. Pretty sure it was some kind of sportsman hull with a 140 etec. Anybody know what sportsman model they’re running these days?

A fish bites 2 times a day, right before I get to the water, and as soon as my boat gets back on the trailer.

Pioneer are the only large fiberglass boats on state contract right now. Key west was on there a couple years ago. Likely one of those two as most of the time government entities purchase through state procurement.

Not saying it wasn’t a sportsman, but I cross a lot of em down here and am yet to see one.

May have been a pioneer after looking into it.

They had a Contender 23 in Gtown with a 300 ETEC on it a few years ago. Use to pull me over all the time in my Pioneer, damn black boat’s like a red sports cat.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I don't know of DNR running any of our boats. Especially with an Etec.

They've had Pioneers up there for a little while, there was still one Boston Whaler around a couple years or so back. I haven't talked to one of our locals lately, I know the jonboats better. They've got some new Sheriff boat up there I see as well, I doubt that thing is really flying off.

I've seen them in a Contender or two around Charleston. They're either checking someone or running WOT

Screw dark gelcoat. Maintenance nightmare, I’m painting mine after this season and clearing it with two coats so I don’t have to deal with that bs again.

It was a pioneer. Almost hit it with a crank bait Friday as he rode over the fish.

You gotta admit it looks good when it’s clean though.
