    Default depredation permit

    Someone school me on these, went to Dnr website, appears that if you can prove crop damage that a 30 day permit is issued. My questions are is records on how many deer are killed this way?

    No there aren’t any records of how many deer are killed, just number if tags

    You call and request dep tag. Scdnr sends a biologist to inspect the fields, biologist issues x amount of tags and then you shoot the tags.

    That’s how it has always went down for us. If the crop damage doesn’t improve, you get more tags.
