Only place that I have any knowledge about is the Chatham Co jail. I would not recommend it. Of course that was a LONG time ago. Maybe it's better now.
Crops are harvested, animals are killed.
Garibaldis, if it's still open.
I ate at a good place on river st one eve. Prime rib and oysters. It was good...i think it was good....was it on river st? Was it savannah? I do remember wet willies. It had to be savannah. Just look for they black guy shucking oysters in the window.
That's a long way from the Hole? Are you going to have the chaperone for this adventure?
Elizabeth on 37th. Perhaps my favorite place in Savannah.
Olde Pink House - consistently great food . Another great place to dine.
Mrs Wilke's Dining Room- old Sav classic , really great place to eat . Family style seating.
The Grey - superb.
Sean Brock has opened a Husk location in Savannah. I have not eaten there.
AJ's on Tybee for fried fish
Sandfly BBQ is good.

The Vault. You can thank me later.
For Tybee I would eat lunch and dinner at Sundae Cafe. As for Savannah goes please do not listen to Timmy Smiff. Not sure what your looking for but no crab shack and no Sandfly BBQ. If fine dinning is your thing go to Garibaldis. Local hole in the wall try Tortuga's or Despositos. Breakfast on Tybee go to the Breakfast Club. Thank me later.
The Vault is very good as well.
I recall a bar in the basement of an old building. I think folks used to meet there during the revolutionary war or something. Not sure if the food was good but it was a neat place that I don’t remember the name of at the moment.
Paula Dean has a restaurant there named 'Lady and Sons'
- worth a try if they have any seating available...
**note**
there is also a Ruth's Chris steakhouse there. (Better mind if the Mrs' has aholta your credit card)

Crystal Beer Palace on Jones St.. has the coldest beer in town and lots of it. Great Burgers.
Someone else said The Gray. It's costly but might be one of the finest restaurants south of the Mason Dixon Line. Outstanding food and lots of history.
2nds on Pink House also, but no comparison to The Gray.

Thanks. She has her own card. I work for her. It's a tough job but the pay is good.

We ate the old pink house last time we were there. Really good food and within walking distance from the Hyatt on the river. Actually there are several good places right near the Hyatt but I can recall their names at the moment. One was right on the river about two blocks from the Hyatt.
I was not impressed with Paula Deens, like eating at my Grandmothers on Sundays. The pink House was good. The places on the river had several that were good, one had the best she crab soup I have ever had. It's been 20 years since I was there.
