    Lord have mercy.

Lake Marion got wholloped starting about 4:30.

I’ve got siding missing it was hailing. My wife got worried and took our youngest down stairs.

At 5 when the electricity went out the alarm started to beep to let me know the power went out.

At this point I was dang sure wide awake so I went down and joined them downstairs.

    I had peanuts cooking.

I had to slide out and turn them off in between the first storm and second storm.

I didn’t think there was any real chance until this evening.

It was sporty for the better part of 1.5 hours

I got up early to go offshore and saw it headed this way. Not here yet but it messed up my plans.

Not sure where here is but you made the right call.

I would t want to get caught in 1/2 of what this storm was out on water.

I’m praying for the power boys.

They need strength peace and mental clarity.

No one needs to get hurt or killed and working as much as they have lately can be taxing on their minds and bodies.

A big thank you to all of you who are in that field!

I was going too, but come to find out my buddy’s fuel tank has a crack on top. His bilge was full of gas. So now I’m going to work!

Hit us at 1:45. The pressure drop with that storm was incredible...

There’s another wave on the way in a few hours. Better make hay while you can.

Here’s a shot of it crossing Daniels Island and headed into Charleston/Mount Pleasant and i was walking down the pier this morning. The storm chased me all the way from Moncks Corner. It was moving FAST and was pretty nasty!! I’d have to guess 50mph or so on the wind speed!
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL

Got crazy around us. Luckily this one didn’t hit my building

Kept power on this time around. Thursday we were without until about 2145.

    I'm amazed I didn't lose any trees!

Yeah I have been watching this next one since it left St. Louis. Seems to be moving at about the same pace which I think puts it here 1:30ish.

It was a daisy, indeed. I put the kids down to bed late, at about 10, and dozed off in the bedroom with em. Come to about 12:30 and forgot I needed to send an email for work. Went back to bed about 1:30ish and had a little pop up patch of rain start. I konked out again and woke up to 2 kids climbing in the bed with us at about 5:30 or so.

Something shattered the glass patio table on the back porch.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I've got plenty of them at the lake and the house. Be glad for him to come over and pick all he can stand. What ever is closer Santee or Florence.

It was obviously squirrels that broke the patio table.

We had a good bit around 5. Nothing big pea size but plenty of it.

It must've been an enormous cell. Seems like it hit the whole state at about the same time of morning.
