    Default Land rover

Is there a resident expert on these, 96 discovery, 97 range rover, neither will start. I think fuel pump issues.

The best way to check the fuel pump is to disconnect the fuel line and turn the key. If fuel squirts out it works, if it does not it’s broken (or another issue).Pumps located in the load space under the mat.......check the power to it as well.

ETA - I am pretty sure the fuse is located under the passenger side front seat. Can’t remember with out looking. Also, the fuel filter is located behind the passenger side rear tire in the wheel well. When you disconnect it to check for flow, I’d do it before and after the filter in order to rule a clogged filter out.
