    Default coastal impoundment people

I am having a debate with some pond owners. I am asking for facts, not opinions....please.

I was told "many lowcountry corn pond owners have switched to RICE instead of corn, as it attracts just as many ducks and is easier to deal with in terms of hogs and weeds."

    Is this true?

You know, sometimes it's okay to choose rice over grits while dining. Real rice is underappreciated.

I've seen hogs tearup a standing wheat field. I bet they will eat mature rice like candy.

I don't get invited to that level of duck hunting so I have nothing to add, coastal or otherwise.

Is the rice a diversionary tactic for dealing with deer beds? Asking for a friend

Black birds eat most mature rice unless the water levels are high enough that they can’t stand on the stalks .... but it’s easier to plant in wet conditions

2th must have bought a coastal impoundment. I'm happy that we're friends, it sucks for the rest of y'all.

    The coast is too far.

    And there are people there.
