Maybe I'm hopeful or maybe I'm just naïve, but I can't imagine that they want the United States military coming over there. Its a loser. They've got to know that. There is no upside. If they did it, and we go, their nuclear program is gone.

What do you base this on? You read his mind?

John Bolton needs to be off the team.

Trump won’t be baited into this crap IMO. However, that doesn’t mean the deepstate cannot force him into it.

He's had ample opportunities to do it before now. Hell, Obama killed more foreigners with drone strikes than Trump has even threatened. Perhaps you are projecting your own desires?

I can’t help but think some one was flipping Rand Paul the bird.

He had just proposed a bill to limit the presidential emergency powers yesterday afternoon.

Now I’m sure Trump saw this and his ego was like what?

Then good ole mustache bandit sits back like JR Ewing and schemes up a plan to cause Trump react.

He just played Trumps ego off Rands attempt at reining in starting endless wars.

Mean while ole Bolton is probably piss drink from drinking Champaign.

He is probably drunk dialing Lockeed Martin about now!
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

You've been consistently wrong about everything having to do with this administration from day 1, no reason to stop now.

That likely mine referenced in the articles is well above the waterline and very small. Am I missing something about mine technology? I thought they were huge and below the surface.

Even if Iran was involved, even though it has world wide implications, it wasn't an American flagged ship.
He should leave the decision to take military response up to Congress.
But if its determined that military action needs to be taken we should go all in and bomb the bastards into oblivion starting with their nuclear facilities.

If we lose a carrier to Iran, it's a big problem. It will expose a fundamental flaw in our entire military strategy. USA's entire aura and philosophy of world-wide power projection is built around the carrier strike force. If Iran can sink one, they are sitting ducks against China.

Stop it. You know full well that America's motives are as pure as the driven snow and any operation on our part is for the good of the people in those oppressed countries. No ulterior motives. Munificence.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
