    Yup, he's crazy...

He was big last year and grew some more.
Tell me how to kill this nocturnal bastard.
I have lots of pics of him between 2am and 4am
Never a daytime pic. The one standing behind him is over 200lbs and a bruiser but camera shy
I think it will take the peak rut, the right wind and luck?
    How wide is that SOB?

that deer will go mid to high 140's EASY, keep corn out for the does , hunt it on the right wind and catch him scent checking does. call me crazy , but I think that when bucks get to 5.5+ they tend to let their guard down , kinda like " I have lived this long nothing is gonna bother me now". he doesn't go in a hole until 2am so be smart don't pressure him and good luck.

I agree. Not sure if they all do it but some that reach 6.5 or more just seem to say screw it and do what they want

Velvet is tricky, but I wouldn't be shocked if he goes mid 150's

    Beautiful animal.

Pro tip: Practice holding the Q beam and shooting 1 handed before actually trying to do it in the wild.
