    Or Cocaine Island.

I could see an entrepreneurial LEA drop a bail in the ocean with a GPS tracker in it.

We ran into some floating bales as a kid coming in near Pine Island, helicopters weren't far behind.

id be interested to know how long it took the coast guard to get out to them.

I have an old fishing buddy that called in a bale back in the 90's. It took the coast guard 7 hours to get to them.

He told them they were going to leave it and continue on their fishing day. They were threatened with arrest and worse. They had to maintain radio contact the entire time. By the time he was ready to leave it, CG already had all of his info and boat name.

they had to sit in the Stream tied to a bale and wait. Coast guard came, searched every inch of boat, interrogated everyone on board, took the bale and left them. They got back to the hill WAAAAAY after dark and low on fuel.

he said never again. Make a few passes, catch a few Dolphin and move on. "Fished around some flotsam, no idea what it was" would be all that was said.

People are responsible for that load. They will be given time to recover it and then they will be killed if they fail. Or their families will be killed if they run. You really want to introduce that element to your world? No. You do not.

Guys lost a load off the west coast in fairly deep water by scuttling the boat while being chased by the law. They were later whacked and the cartel spent months with divers trying to recover it. I think they ended up getting it back. Whatever it takes...

So where were the hookers? Would you turn them in?

That’s why you check it for a tracking device
