Default What is this for ?

I was cleaning out the storage box inside and the boat and noticed this cable laying in there. Not sure what it’s for, any thoughts? It’s a switch of some sorts. I tried to get a picture of the connection if that helps.8030F1A7-F01D-4778-993D-CE06829D102F.jpg

Jack plate or trim switch? Looks like a momentary switch that would connect to a relay.

No it was just laying in the storage area. It has the switch on the end which is odd. Now that I’m thinking of it, could it be a something that connects to the motor? Maybe a trim cable or something like that? I say that because the switch comes back to place after turning it. Not sure what that’s called, but it’s not a regular 2 or 3 position switch

The plug makes me think gps unit power switch but the green/blue wire scheme make me think trim/tilt or jack plate.
    Either way it’s useless now.

Is it really useless? I don’t need it but someone may.

Cut the red and blue wire. Not the green.
