the wind picked up, it thundered, and that was that. I could hear the sighs coming out the ground. I got pissed off that I had to go out and turn the irrigation on. I just took a shower and changed my socks. Then I got more pissed off that charleston/mt P got all the rain and the tree they planted at the country club of charleston right after hugo took a direct lightning hit and now they have to cut it down for safety reasons. I blame the LPGA for upper Dorchester getting nothing....

as an aside, they captured the lightning strike live. It was pretty cool with the james island connector in the background

was a good time, but the wind that came with it blew all the sweet corn down and had me working past dark.
b-stick, hope yall got some water at the bend. Wire road was covered with branches and leaves and as soon as I pulled in the driveway I noticed that something looked shorter in the back field. Had to haul ass and start pulling string on t-posts.

I got some rain yesterday, and plenty lightning. Lightning took out my internet, phone, and one of my TV's.

Good news is that I am finally seeing a decent chance for rain on Thursday. Bad news is that it is Thursday the 6th.

i was texting my best buddy this morning and it looks like with this gulf storm and the 10 day forecast we’ll go from dust bowl to mud hole right quick like. Wish it would been a few weeks ago for the corn. Feast or famine. Much like pimpin, farming aint easy. It was so dry though that I watched 2” of rain go poof in minutes
