    Solid find!

I sure do like those cedar birds George Strunk and a few others turn out. One day I may have time to try to hone my knives and skills again.

There were a couple dudes from Jersey that lived on my hall at Clemson and they were both incredible carvers.

Tommy Boozer uses white cedar for most of his decoys.

I work off of Jersey built decoys myself.

Also have a few that look just like Bunn's...

Thank you PD, I grew up in Southern Maryland and know more history from there and Virginia. The havre de grace museum, Easton, and Solomons Island museum have some good pieces in their collections. Maybe I'm out of the loop, I find it harder to learn about the history of water fowling here. Probably just need to read more.

At least 45 years ago. My friend saw it first so he has it. Just the tail was sticking up out of the pluff mud.
