    Default Dolphin beatdown

Weeeeeeeds everywhere yesterday. Aggravating. Think we ended up with around 10 dolphin. Bumpy ride out, coming in was ok.
Oh and the part where a newbie laid one of my 80’s on the gunnel in a rolling ocean...she gone.

We had a great day of camaraderie and caught some nice fish- awesome all round.
We turned the radio off because everyone must have had to much time to talk and I get tired of hearing dumb shit all day.

Same here. I'm all for kids being involved. I can't wait to get my five year old son out there when the time is right, but for fucks sake take the vhf out of the kids hands. There was one kid yesterday that wouldn't stay off it and had nothing of interest to say.

It was a fun day Ethan. (we fished together yesterday) 11 dolphin was our box. Probably half were gaffers. I lost one of my spinning rods to the deep blue abyss due to poor placement as well. The bummer of our trip is that the stress crack in our floor below the leaning post/livewell became a real crack. We have to pull the leaning post and get it to the glass man. Yay.

    5/19:
Got beat on the way out in a 23 foot sea hunt, we never saw the 2 ft at 7 forecasted.

Caught about 10 AJ's, pile of bliners, BSB, Cobia, triggers, and 6 dolphin. Only trolled for an hour so due to gas shortage, but we made it back with some to spare. Ride in was better.

Rough as snot Saturday morning for us til about noonish.

Came in with 29 fish, mostly bigger fish than the last trip.

Last pair of the day 33lb bull and his mate was around 20.

Man I love this time of year. Back at em Thursday.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

If you were that Sportsman we passed leaving Gtown, it’d be less bumpy if whoever is driving to learn to trim a boat. Those boys in that boat were wet and beat to snot before they ever got to fish.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    1 bFT
    1 dolphin
    1 African pompano
    2 scamps
    2 strawberries
    1 big squirrel fish
    10-11 big b-liners
    7 triggers
    8 white grunts
    10-11 pinkies
1 big AJ for the dog
    2 sand tiles

That was the keep. Caught a bunch of other stuff and shorts.
