    I know an old timer that was hunting antelope in the Midwest sometime back in the late 70's, early 80's I believe. They had received permission to hunt on this ranch from a fella and his wife. well they were hunting in a pasture/ prairie within view of the house and as they were hunting they saw 2 sets of green jeans walk up to the house. When they got done hunting they went to the ranch owners and asked what that was about... they stated that the officers had said they were with SCDNR and were wanting permission to trap coyotes on their land to release on a place called Dreher Island to control the deer and rabbit population... hmmm

    Ruth recalls a large criminal case in the 1980s that involved hunters bringing live foxes and coyotes from out of state for their hounds to chase. Others have been arrested more recently for similar crimes.
    This part made me laugh.

    And I see the reading comprehension hasn't gotten any better around here.
