    Default Parental Control Software

I figured I'd start another thread, so the question didn't get lost amidst the bible verses.

So far my kids have been very limited on what they are able to access. They have kindles that are very locked down. But as they get older and will be using the internet for school projects I need to think about some more inclusive parental control filter. And who knows, maybe some of the addicts can use it and have their wife setup the password.

Ideally it would have per user settings and be available for multiple profiles across multiple devices and Operating systems. Remote monitoring and setup would also be nice. Any suggestions?

    Boomerang for phones

We have it in our kids phones. You can set access times. Lock out apps. You approve each app as it’s downloaded. You can even set up text monitoring to either screen for inappropriate words, danger words or log all texts. You can read every text to and from that phone. It also has gps. And of course it has internet filtering.

I give them 1 hr per day if grades are good. I have it set from 7-8 pm. Outside of that they can’t access anything. If they are out of line, I can lock the phones remotely and all they can do is call me or mom.

It’s about $30/yr for 10 devices. It works on android and apple phones and iPads.

You can do a 14 day free trial

i'm gonna go fishing and drink some beer and think about this....

but before I go, the one way to be sure kids cant access porn on i-devices, is to NOT let them access i-devices.

Drink one for me. I'll be here watching people argue about porn.
