    Default QDMA Soy Bean Updates.

    We started planting yesterday and hope to be done by tomorrow mid day before the storms role in.

    How about keep us all posted how your germination rates go.

    What sort of soil did you plant in.

    Did you fertilize will you? Are you gonna spray?

    and you shouldve had vetch and alyce clover in a couple of those spots...but at least it looks like they will get more shade in the future so you can do that next year.

    Far from through!

    Got some clover at another track.

    Not sure on the planter.

    It has a bar and it set inches and then it has clicks on each drop.
    I planted those at 3/8” open and 3 clicks showing.

    Was outing out about 70lbs to the acre.

    I was accounting for the seed age and deer pressure in the area.

    Some low lites at the pond

    Rolled up to see a young man I know another guy and a girl.

    They started stuttering like hell.

    He is a senior this year.

    He asked if I thought the fish would bite now?

    I was like huh?

    I knew something was up then.

    I thought they were looking at deer.

    Pull up to fuel up get out and start and smell a certain smell.

    I finish and was gonna ride back over and say something but saw the head lights ease off into the distance.

    His father is a great guy and a well known business guy around town.

    Do I A) just call him and tell him

    B) let it go he is off my property

    C) call the kid and ask if he will bring me some while I’m riding around in the dust bowl?

    Well, I'm done! Rain Baby Rain!

    After the youngins I go down the street.

    We have had trouble with trespassers at this one spot since the DNR officer inadvertently tore down the gate with his truck.

    To his his credit he was trying to help me catch some trespassers.

    Fast forward, cameras are up a few folks caught.

    I turn in to find a vehicle parked. I pull up making a video so LE can see the license plate. At that point I decide I'm going to leave. I only had a pocket pistol and really wasn't into a major conflict. As I turn around dude sticks his hands out the window??

    OK so I send the video to DNR and a few folks at FCSO. I need to keep planting!

    I come back 30-40 min later to find blue lights everywhere.

    Apparently hommie left his vehicle, and was no where to be found. So LE went down to his house. "Amazingly"s no one was home!

    At that point LE told me to tow the car but not before they did a traditional "throw all the shit out the car search" It was a legal search too.

    Any way turns out ole boy at least had refer. "Had" being the key word! He left enough in said car to be very interesting to the police. Lets just say more than a dime bag or 2

    So the QDMA seeds are terrific. If Tooth has any more I put my order info them! I had made a deal wit h a local farmer. They were suppose to be clean/beans. I opened a bag yesterday and almost fainted. I made a quick filter, then a sift.

    After worrying over this all night long my brain finally came up with a idea to remove the sticks and debris. Dang if it didn't work and well too!

    But that is a extra step, and at this point the QDMA do the same thing, and don't cause me all the extra work!

    Freaking nice equipment caused me to swap gears in the middle of the fight.

    Damn 1.5 year old remanufactured fuel injection pump quit on me.

    To say I was pissed was a understatement.

    It was the old style with all metal internals.

    Internal parts look brand new

    Just will not pump

    Between fighting the broke pump and the beans having trash I transitioned to just finishing some plots with the spreader.

    Rain washed them in today

    Should have the pump middle of the week and can finish the other bean plots up.

    After I get some from Tooth

    Mean while I’ll start on peanut plots
