So ATT decided that the existing phone line a mere 35 feet from a new home construction wasn't going to do it for them that day, and decided to trench in 1.5 miles of new line right down one of my paved roads.

An hour and 39 minutes in, have been hung up on by an Indian once and spoken to Lisa who just never came back on the line.

If there is a worse company on this planet, I do not want to have to ever deal with them. Yes. I know I will have to go grab a live guy off the side of the road to even start to make any headway...

I cannot say one pleasant thing about their business care line. Every time I've called in the last three years I'm thinking it can't be worse than the last. They beat that s***. It hurts me inside having to call them, spirit breaking almost. I handed those duties off a couple months ago, and gave the young man that I'm training to be "me" here that responsibility.

Their field guys, the ones I deal with have been good though.

I want to say it's been maybe three years since I feel they've kinda out sourced their call people. It's 30 minutes to report a problem, and to get someone on order to come out. Just believe me that I've reset the damn modem.

Thing is, the builder insisted that the owner provide him with a hard phone line because he was working out in the wilderness with ATT wireless that is useless up here. House will be finished in 3 weeks if the weather holds. Phone lines are stubbed up into the pedestals but not wired together. And they never will be. What's a quarter mill to ATT shareholders anyway? Lazy, worthless, shitbags...

We going through HELL with them idiots NOW. Wife stayed on the phone with them till 9:30 Friday night. We turned in a hotspot we were paying 100.month for and they changed her phone plan without even telling her. Went up 60 a month for a fuking flip phone. They will be out of our lives by Friday. Fuck um

We needed extra phone lines at the office.

ATT was the provider at the time.

They made it so confusing and ridiculous I was ready to buy every employee a cell phone. Now this was 10 years ago so the cell prices weren't as good as today.

Someone in the community lead me to another company.

They came in "borrowed" the 6 copper lines for a small fee a month, and installed fiber for 121 phone lines. Copper has some advantages in emergency situations.

It was painless and far easier than I could have ever imagined.

I don't think ATT wants business.

I was sitting at the hotel bar in Knoxville last Wednesday evening listening to some gal with ATT corporate tell everybody how much money she made and how good of a company ATT was. I knew something wasn't right about that broad or the company after that encounter. Verizon ain't great but I sure don't have horror stories to tell that come close to what y'all have been through.
