Default Inshore guide recommendations for Clearwater/Dunedin FL area

Wife and I are headed down there Memorial Day weekend. Looks like a bunch of guides in the area but does anyone have any recommendations? I’d like to target snook and fishing mangroves, something a little different than our coast.
    Thanks

I fished with Chet a few years ago. Nice guy, knows the area well. Fished for tarpon mostly but it was a little early in the season and I knew that going in. Switched up to snook in the afternoon and was steady on them.

Capt. Jay Plastic. I’ve been fishing with him for 10 years. Snook are his specialty.

Whatever you do, do hire a guide to catch mangroves.... they are the bream of saltwater. Everwhere.

If you dont find a guide as I am sure it is one of their busiest weekends. Rent a kayak and I will give you some recommendations if you will have the time to head to other side of bay around Bradenton or south part of bay.

Being that I now spend 80 hours a week in a hospital in Columbus GA... I have to live vicariously through having other people catch the fish I spent 5 years chasing.

Appreciate the recommendations fellas. Dawhoo, thanks for the offer on Bradenton area but very doubtful I'll be headed that way. Can KRT debadge my boat, delete something on the motor, bigger tires with black rims, and put a lift kit on my boat trailer?

I'm in St. Pete and I'd offer to take you but we'll be out of town Memorial day weekend and I'm really not much of a fisherman.

My son's high school golf coach, Ben Boyle, runs a charter company and fishes Tampa Bay. https://www.nativesportfishing.com/

Tell him Luke Bannister sent you.

Cobia/Ling were in the flats last week. My son’s friend caught this one. Sight fishing the flats. This is about 1/2 mile from my house.

That’s one of the best cobia I’ve seen come off the flats.
That point looks like the flats off shore acres/overlook?

I know smacks well, I grew up by there in placedo bayou.
I know the fishing in that area very well. Those flats are a great spot to sight fish some reds/trout and will have the occasional tarpon by the edge as well.
There is also great fishing right there by smacks A short kayak paddle away.
