Basically what we are hearing is that parents pumped full of Prozac, who pump their children full of amphetamines (meth, vyvanse, adderall) want to make sure that teachers do not smoke pot.?

I want to make sure the people responsible for the well being of my kids aren't dependent on a substance to get through their day.

Again if they are the best of the best why do yo care what they do?

    I want the best!

I could care less if they are stoned high or drunk.

If they are the best and are delivering the best why do you care?

If we are discussing making kids go to the same old same old with no competition then yes, test them.

But my reasons for texting are different.

I want a means to a end to get to competition.

Then let the best schools decide who they want to higher firer.

Some of the greatest minds are driven by substances far worse than your best saturday night and in greater quantities than you would think possible.

But these folks think outside the box, and are the nuts and bolts of the scientific community.

No where in the constitution can you find where the Founders gave in federal entity the ability to regulate what you put into your body, they can tax it but not regulate!

    Im a psycho?

    Ok....

This is is exactly why we have the same convoluted BS department of education that is failing all the kids today.

    Read what I said.

If the person is the best in their field.

    Why do you care?

Assuming you have the choice to bypass that person, via school choice?

Listen, I think you're a pretty cool guy for the most part. I really do. And it's on me for directly responding to you.gu

I'm not arguing with you about anything. I agree. I just don't want my public school educators high on anything while they are responsible for my kid. That's not too much to ask(that's not a question).

    And I agree.

Its why I put the caveat in my argument that we do away with what we know as the department of education.

As it is, go back and read, I'm not cool with teachers being Mr. Stoner.

    However,

If we are talking a competitive environment with the best of the best, and the best happens to use some sort of chemical crutch so be it. They are the best.

We can get into if they ar not teaching, but my experience with the individuslaus I speak of are extremely motivated and forget smart they forgot more than you will know.

Most are pill heads think House.

    Opioids effect some folks differently.
That aint no joke if you ever meet one.

Ive been fortunate enough to meet several Ivy league grads. Some not all very finite example are on pills. They are super intelligent. They blow me away, in the taking department, that takes a lot.

Take their meds away and they become average.

Give them meds and they become human computers. It is the wildest thing. They don't become slow or stupid, they catch fire.

    I realize this isn't everyone.

    This is a elect few.

But its a select few. If we change the public school system why not give our kids the best teachers?

pre hire drug test are a complete waste of time and money. Anyone that uses any substance and knows ahead of time they are having a test will do one of 3 things
    1. Quit for the time needed to pass
    2. Use a cleanser that covers up what’s in your system.
    3. Get clean pee.

Also, weed shows up for 30 days, cocaine 1-3 days, meth 1-3 days, opiates about a week, alcohol within 12 hours.....now, if I get high off a blunt tonight and take a DT in 2 weeks I’m gonna fail the test. But Brett can do a line of blow on Friday and ecstasy on sat and Heroin on Sunday morning and pass the test on Tuesday. So do y’all want to hire the dope head because they passed your BS drug test or the person that burns some flowers on the weekend?

I’m still over here trying to figure out all these hot ass teachers/nymphos that can’t get laid outside of 16 year olds and where they were when we were in school, and here y’all are trying to get someone caught up smoking some weed and pounding ultras.

If getting stoned is more important to you than the career you pursued as an educator then you dont deserve the career.
I smoked. A lot. Now it could cost me my job and rightfully so, so I don't. It's really that fucking simple.

Depends on what you do for a living. In the case of teachers, drunk.
