The tiger ( I think ) mango habanero is awesome with grilled fish. I haven’t been able to find it lately.

As for Franks, I’d say Buffalo NY is about as yankee as it gets. Lol.

    Default Best Hot Sauce?

    My favorites.

Edited to say: Tiger sauce is more of a condiment than a hot sauce but I still like it on fried cube steak.

Does Frank's have any heat, or is it just good flavor? I like a good bit of heat, but it has to have some flavor to match or it's just gasoline.

Each one has it's specialty in my honest opinion but Texas Pete and Krystal are my go to's. Tiger sauce is an awesome add to egg salad or tuna salad, Chulula makes a leftover turkey sammich da bomb but Texas Pete mixed with some butter and a little bit of ketchup and horseradish on an Ocracoke Inlet oyster is hard to beat.

I like hot sauce with every third or fourth oyster. Texas Pete is good for that and chicken wings, that's the only time I use it.. Regular hot chicken wings should be Texas Pete and butter. I like Cholula, and maybe occasionally Tabasco. I feel like a hipster saying this, but I eat Sriracha on a few things also. I like to taste my food, not hide it with fire.

To me, Texas Pete is blase'

I can't think of one time I've used it and really felt like it improved any aspect of what I was eating. Frank's is only marginally better.. the only thing I use it on is in wing sauce.

I take Frank's in a small sauce pan, toss in a few tabs of butter and then toss my wings
and they are great. Once and awhile I will sprinkle a small amount of lemon pepper in the pan too.
I do the same with Crystal too...…….Texas Pete got left in the 80's
    Give it a try
