That oughta teach him a lesson.
We gave you Corn, you gave us clap, bad trade.
Poor guy picked the wrong guy for his first NHL fight.
Never knew Carolina had a hockey team. Next you'll tell me that they play soccer somewhere too.

On da button.
Don’t know what the rookie was thinking. It can’t hurt the caps have one the best fighters on their team who shares his craft. Now his brother is vowing to defend him next time Detroit and Washington play. What a joke. His little brother made a stupid decision. I get the code and all but he will get beat too.
Meanwhile True heavy weights Reaves and Kane will more the likely fight again. Hopefully better then the pillow fight from last night.
The Russian Olympic team is going to have some nice dynamics soon.
It's been some heavy hitting, and some good fights since playoffs started..... and it's still another month and a half to go.
Hell they were laughing halfway through...

They have been stirring the pot all year. Most NHL'ers train together in the off season or know each other from elite ranks. They will fight on the ice and have beers after the game together. Part of the un written code that governs hockey.
Side note on Reaves, pure goon. Most guys on his team don't like him but he is there for one reason, protect the star players.
If Ovechkin wants to prove something, let him pick a fighter instead of a rookie half his size. Ovechkin is a pu**y!
A great offensive talent that is NOT afraid of a tangle. Not sure you'd call him a pu$$y on the other side of the keyboard.
Ovechkin has been crosschecking and slashing him from the start because he knew he could beat him. When he knocked him out, he could've released him. Instead he fell with him and made sure he shoved him against the ice. He is out with a concussion and it's not from the punch!
If Ovechkin will fight a true enforcer and beat him, I will retract all statements and apologize to everyone on here. He's has 40 total penalty minutes for the season so he's really been tearing heads up this season. I've seen ECHL enforcers that would beat his ass in the ice. He would need an attendance trophy because he sure wouldn't be participating.

If an enforcer challenges him to a fight I bet he steps up. Look at how many hits he’s had on the season. He doesn’t shy away physical play. By the way we are talking about the big leagues. Not the ECHL. They fight to fill the seats not to enforce the code.
