    Default Transducer mounting location

    One more question...

    Below is a pic of where my old transducer is mounted. Is it not in the wrong spot? Too much turbulence there? When mounting the new transducer should it not go to the right of the motor?

    I would mount it under the drain that is to the right of the top screw pictured that is holding the current transducer wire.

    Definitely strange position of the current transducer.

    For what it was yes...I think so.

    I would mount it on a stern saver mount to the right of the silver drain.
    I would not put it where the old one is.
