Quiet until 0813
Opted to hunt my lease vs a state permit due to the forecast.
The first gobble was 0813 and I was taking pictures at 0837. I tried to get some video but unbeknownst to me, the tactacam only shoots in 10 min max clips. Right before the video stops you can see the white head coming through the woods. It would have been some good footage, but I did get a bunch of gobbling before I ever saw the turkey.
Wet turkeys do not make for good pictures...

We were supposed to hunt an adult/youth permit but I didn’t think the weather would make for a fun hunt. I was partly correct. The weather wasn’t great but the hunt would have been spectacular.
