Looks like a great trip other than the flight and your Dad's health issue. Nice Red Stags.
I know to fly business class, regular seating sucks.

Were those briar chaps or snake chaps?

They are leg gaithers for thorns. I will get another pair. Mine are too loud for sneaking around.

They have poisonous snakes there, but not too many.

Bob’s a good dude, and that operation is one of my favorites out of the ones I’ve hunted. You got a steal on that.

    Congrats.

How do the Red Stags taste?

I don't know why but I look at Elk as a delicacy and Red Stags as nasty table fare.

Negative on the Boar. We actually didn’t see any all week. She did kill a Texas Dall because she like the look of the euro skull mount at the lodge. It was a fun little hunt watching her chase them around.

We picked out one we thought had been fighting and had a little bloodied face. Come to find out he had fought so much his skull was exposed and his eye was eaten through with bugs. Crazy looking, but he was eating and acting just fine.

The stag we had was awesome. I mean it was a 4 star full time chef preparing it, but it was dang good.

That was all pretty cool. I would like to do that, but just kill everything with guns.
