Choke sizes

I am completely new to turkey hunting so this is probably dumb but do most of y’all use a standard size (modified, full, etc) choke or is it like duck hunting and different sizes for different situations? I will pattern in, but I got a box of 4shot shells and not sure if it will matter.

Seriously though. I don’t turkey hunt but I have some owed days off at work so I figured I’d give this thing a try.

Xtra full or turkey choke would be my suggestion.

Tons of options out there. Depends less on situation and more on what type of shot and what the gun likes. For example hevishot doesn't want as tight a choke in my experience.

For lead #4's if probably try an extra full and limit my shots to within 40 yards.

But I would definitely pattern. It's not just the choke shell combination. But you also need to see where your center of aim is.

Put in your full choke and pattern it. Personally I’d buy a turkey choke and pattern it then have at it. Turkey hunting is very addictive so you’ve been warned.
