i'm glad I dont get to hunt as much as some of you or I would have to watch out how many pictures I took or tags I had left....
I hunted the "Turkey Factory" Friday morning in Kershaw County. Heard one gobble. It was slow and boring and painful. He died around 8am. I cant imagine having to sit there that long ever again in my life. We didnt even get to call or move or put a bunch of decoys out. Turkey hunting is stupid. He had pointy spurs and a really bushy beard thingie. He weighed 19lbs.

Son2 was jealous. He said we were going hunting saturday morning. I explained to him I had gone and listened 5 or 6 times (at my place) in the last few weeks and all the turkeys gobble on the creek but spend their days on the wrong side. So, we went down to the bottom in the freezing cold, dressed like duck hunters and heard gobbles everywhere and called to them on the roost like some silly rookie.
He died at 7:18. Is that even legal? Son2 made a nice shot thru some really thick shit we call the "Pbiz Hog-Stabbing woods." His bird had one inhc spur things and a regular old beard thing so I reminded him how much better of a turkey hunter I am than him. His bird was overweight and lazy and weighed 22lb 14oz.
I am an awesome parent but I dont take fancy pics of everything that happens in my life.
