Move the decoys closer to you, or past you, as the previous poster said. Or, toss the decoys, get his attention and wait on him to come looking while you stay quiet. 10th Avenue Freeze Out.

Wait until second week in April and kill him at 10:00a.m. to the third week and kill him off the roost.
Whatever you do, don't name him
2 years and those are the only 2 turkeys in the area. Might want to leave him for seed.
use his gobble to locate him. dont even call until youre setup in front of the direction he is headed. and try without the decoys.

Would be better if I come show ya....
Just wait a week or so and the gen will go on nest and he'll be lonely.
The majority of the turkeys being killed right now probably being shot over decoys or shot out of blinds in strut zones. All the one I've found loaded up with hens. Once them hens get bred they will work a call better.
Is the turkeys name dildo?
Well they gobbled once on the roost and shut up for the day.The person hunting where he roosts at didnt see or hear the pair either after that. Not a single turkey was in a field in a 2 mile radius,so I guess the wind chill today had them locked down in a valley.
Not all Indians were hunters.
The way I see it, you only have two viable options
Option #1 - buy rifle in trading post and assassinate him from a bushy knoll
Option #2 - bring me along and take notes

Shot the hen and he will get lonely and then you can call him up.
