I have no clue, but I have a guy that does.

Yeah this is gonna hurt. Driving 25-30k miles a year to do my job and I can’t even deduct it. Seems absurd to me.

BINGO. I have a LOT of unhappy Sales reps this year. HUGE F UP by this change on this one , HUGE

ANYONE on W2 with enough MISC Bus exp is pretty much butt screwed. I tried warning clients last year, some listened a LOT DID NOT until THIS YEAR . Hardest hit are over the road truck drivers, sales reps, union pipe welders

You own your business in an LLC which can write the mileage off if I remember correctly

A married couple friend on mine are both sales people. One travels half of S.C. and the other travels the country. I know the guy travels 40-50k miles a year. He was really pissed....

Qeueation for the W2 sales people. Does your employer not reimburse you your mileage throughout the year?

Mine did not but apparently there are some tenured reps that are not happy after finding how much they got hosed so now it’s on the table.

Overcollection and refunding of taxes is the biggest fleecing of the American people. Most folks have no clue what they pay, but know they get a refund. Pay your taxes once per year, and you will hate income taxes far far more than you do now

Yes, I turn in an expense report every week for mileage at .58/mi because I drive my vehicle and burn my gas.
I did not when I had a company car and gas card

Mileage is a moot point for me at tax time as I am reimbursed throughout the year.
