    Default Corn?

    A few days ago I was told that several farmers here (Marlboro County) were told that they could not plant corn this year due to the moisture. Whenever I asked I was told that this happens every now and then whenever the insurance companies won't cover a certain crop due to whatever reason.

    Is this true?

    From the conversation I had with the person who told me it was "at all", but I'm not sure how that works.
