Still depends on how far he wants to push it, UT will fork over some money this I am pretty sure of
VERY gray area and attorneys have a heyday with that
Now I would not see him getting anything near the total contract price but he will get a couple mill just to appease him and keep it out of the court room
Now with that said there is always this statement made , "you are hired PENDING BOARD APPROVAL ". However this should have been kept quiet UNTIL BOARD APPROVAL
THat is what will get him paid in that UT let the cat out of the bag more than likely

Schiano got Sanduskied by UT.
And the whole country watched that very long, very uncomfortable shower.
You lost all the sound legal advice from the other thread?

Why didn't Travis take the job? He obviously knows more than anybody else in Div 1.

If a contract has names and signature lines then all signature lines must be executed to form a contract. No clause required. The existence of the signature lines is the clause.

Did Schiano go back to OSU, have not really kept up that part of it
If he wants to be upset at somebody, he needs to point that towards McQueery who named Schiano as an accessory in the PSU scandal while under oath in a grand jury testimony. Next in line to fuss at would be the Washington Post and NY Times as they ran several articles dealing with Schiano's involvement as matter of public record.
Clearly the majority of you have never been involved in business contracts and or contract law. Hell, every single real estate contract I've signed has contingencies for exit for both parties. Simple Real Estate contracts aren't valid until the have been signed off on by all parties and hence become "ratified".
I know the fact escapes most of you that employment contracts are not all just as simple as your McDonalds or Green Acres Landscape applications that you are used to....sometimes employment offers are contingent upon your driving record, your credit history, and.........
Wait for it.......
A satisfactory BACKGROUND CHECK!
But let's not let facts get in the way of a good innerweb lynching....and besides, I think some of y'all better pay closer attention and stay off your phone while at work....you're burning the fries.
