    Default 7 rem mag

After bleeding a ton of velocity in the last barrel, it was time for a new tube.

Had a 30” Brux 1:8 spun up back in 7 Rem Mag. Some of you know that it’s one of my pet cartridges.

Ready to get some rounds through it and seeing if I can get 3150 FPS with a 180gr eld and 3050 with a 195 Berger.

    Be careful. M700 shrapnel stings
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

I was at 3040 in the last barrel. It was a 28” Brux. N570, RL26, and possibly RL33 should do the trick.

Is that really 30"? Looks more like 20". Have you been talking to Gander about barrel length?

    It’s 32” with the brake.

    Nice rig
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

I have one but probably won’t run one on this rifle.

Brakes are far superior to cans when it comes to recoil.

Biggie a friend of mine spun it up.

    Loaded 18 rounds from 66grs to 70grs of RL26, fed 215M, and 180 ELD

Two round test for velocities and pressures. Found slight bolt lift at 70grs.

70grs landed me at 3192 FPS. DO NOT USE THESE LOADS IN YOUR RIFLE.

Barrel should speed up a little after another 100-125 rounds.

Oops. My bad. Yep must have had Remington mental moment . The older I get, the more this happens lol.
