Very late seeing this. Great write up and congrats on a hard earned turkey. Been looking for this in the other forum.

Thanks for sharing, and congratulations to both of you. Appears to have been a hell of a hunt. An unforgettable trip for sure!

I like the fact that you have never been there and call others yum yums and act like you own the place already.

Looks like it was a great hunting trip though.

No he acts like he did his homework and put the work in. Unlike people that do no scouting and walk in blind throwing their darts at boards hoping something will stick...

I don’t own a thing. I travel a lot to turkey hunt and I’ve seen it everywhere. Sticking a strutter decoy in a New York pasture and killing your limit every year isn’t going to help you in the swamps of Big Cypress. When hunting gets difficult, folks that haven’t taken an opportunity to develop any skills are SOL and they don’t adapt. Riding up and down a road on a 4 wheeler and stopping to start a fire with your box call every so often makes you a yum yum. Public land attracts the public.

Thank you sir. We figure we saw 15-20 per day.

The ranger said if we wanted to bike the lime rock roads in the middle of the night, we’d probably see a python laying in the road. They are getting to be a huge problem down there.

Fine work Michael. Some folks don't get it. Success isn't luck. It's preparation.
