    Great report and pics! Congrats!

Great read. Appreciate you taking the time to lay it out for us all.

To see those plans come together has to be the best feeling. Congrats to you both.

I appreciate all the kind words. It certainly makes these trips better when you have someone that you trust implicitly by your side. I have been on every trip in Tim's quest for his slams, and he on most of mine. I have shared a ton of trees with him and watched him kill many birds with many more to come. He did just as much homework and handled everything he was responsible for. He's a great hunter and a pleasure to travel with. Your partner is extremely important in these deals.

It is also shocking to me how far someone will go toward something they say they want, only to refuse to cross that last pond, last creek, last devil palm flat, hike that last mile, or whatever excuse you can insert. Driving that far and hunting up and down the road is just something I can't believe. I guess that's the difference between some folks and others.

I can promise you that I think I'm the baddest mofo at the base of every tree I sit against. That doesn't make it true, but its how I feel. I'd say that most successful turkey hunters feel the same way.

I’m not a turkey hunter, but after reading that, I might want to be.

    Incredible write up Boozer.

I’ll be down there catching aquarium fish and peacocks in 8 days.

Thanks man. Its a Lawson Blue Ridge. We chose that because of the lack of body contact to keep down the ability for mosquitoes to bite through. We were very pleased.

I camp some times when I go on long weekend tarpon trips down there and have been looking to change my set ups. That looks worth a go. Thanks for the info.

My nomad shirt was half price. What’s the going rate on a merriams? $1500 sound about right?
