    Just make sure that tank doesn't sit in the sun until it gets drained down some or you'll have it leaking and create a damn serious situation.

    I had a 100 gallon tank start leaking, dog peed on it so much it rusted through. It was leaking enough it was forming ice on the concrete. I smelled it from the front yard and it was in the back yard.. Called gas company and they sent a guy with a dolly and he took it away. Hoisted it up on his truck and away he went, not a care in the world.

    Once he got it on the truck the leak was probably diluted enough that there would be minimal danger.

    However, since the ignition level of propane is around a 10% dilution ratio (propane gas to air), you got lucky there wasn't an ignition source near that leak, or had a low area where the gas would have concentrated.
