Default H 3092 Here in lies your Pen raised mallard YEAS within the house

Please put some pressure on your Senators as S 477 in is committee and contains : TO PROVIDE THAT CAPTIVE-RAISED MALLARDS MAY BE TAKEN BY SHOOTING ON PERMITTED REGULATED SHOOTING AREAS FOR MALLARDS WITHOUT REGARD FOR BAG OR POSSESSION LIMITS

I am truly sad to see a couple of names from the House that supported this bill.

I most likely don't have this fully correct, so please, someone correct me where I am wrong, as my brain is worn thin on about five different issues regarding our state and federal agencies and management at the moment plus some other things in the hopper.

From what I can digest quickly -This bill allows a land owner to gain a permit such as a preserve or RSA restricted shooting area permit that legalizes the taking of tame mallards of which on the permitted land will be excluded from your wild bird limit while hunting on the permitted land. The bill calls for the banding of all tame birds.

However, this bill does not allow you, if on public water or non permitted land, to kill banded tame birds and exclude them from your wild bird limit.

Again, I am sure I am off a bit on the full details , PLEASE correct and forgive me if so, someone feel free to correct my wrongs from this skint out brain of mine.

Names in attachment below that voted YEA for the bill which has now passed the house and is in committee in the Senate and will be voted on soon.

If anyone knows OTT, or the other NAYS, please shake their hand and tip your hat to them from me.

Looks like they are trying to help the economically challenged pond owners around the lake.

Not surprising. SC continuing it’s fine example of do what I say not as I do. Bravo. Unfortunate although not surprising to see Mace joining the favors game. She knows better on wild life matters.

Of all the issues I’ve seen petitions come out for or against both on this site and CWS on Facebook, I can’t believe we didn’t get one going for this.

If there is anyone that hasn't figured it out by now DT follows the crowd regardless of his constituents or what is right/wrong.

I thought peer pressure was high school shit but turns out it's not or some just never grow up.

The feds controlled this issue. They never made a case against call birds. This practice proliferated.

Judge ruled they are his livestock and he can kill them any way he wants.

Without support of the federal law they are nothing more than chickens, like Jab said.

I hear the senate will allow 4 tamies. I plan to have an amendment in the house allowing unlimited tamie killing the last 8 days of the season. That will enable the tamie shooters to eliminate as many as possible to prevent the gene pool pollution.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.

Maybe I’m reading it wrong but I thought the above was a separate issue than the Tamie Mallard Bill which was Senate Bill 477?

    Or does House 3092 = Senate 477?
