    Default sometimes....

things just fall into place that make you appreciate life even more DB52AEA7-68A7-4841-A513-D02C7B9583EF.jpg
I have seen the number of prayer threads lately for parents/wives/family members and it makes you stop to assess current state within your own life. F2CB96FB-10A8-4B69-BD8F-47BA146E1B94.jpg
Dear friends who allow you to enjoy these moments are also to be appreciated beyond words.

My dad was literally on deaths bed before the holidays. He recovered and we got him home before Christmas to enjoy the reason for the season. He just wanted to go fishing, as he took me thousands of times when I was younger. Saturday was an awesome day. 6A66BC15-BC4B-4B3B-B64B-5514D4774688.jpg

It was time to pay it forward. I babysat him all day just to see him feel good. He fell a couple of times, cussed me, told me of all the times I was a pain in his ass, broke off more little rapalas than money could buy, but at the end of the day he had enough fish to eat and a smile on his face that did not have a price tag, nor what modern medicine could provide.

Thank you daddy for letting me return the favor. And thank you dear friend for letting me make another memory at your beautiful place.

    Time well spent.

Glad you enjoyed your time with your pop. It's the best medicine in the worl IMO.
When I go fishing with my 30 year old son these days, half the time I want to knock his damn head off...
but I wouldn't trade those days for anything else in the world.

Congrats to you both. It's human nature to take things for granted. Thanks to the GOOD LORD for timely discernment.

Outstanding!! Glad you had a great time.

2018 was a tough year for our family. I was blessed to fish Saturday with my lady, Gutpile, Father of Gutpile and Capt Tom. We had a marvelous day on the water. Wouldn't have changed a single aspect.

Grateful to have friends who we consider family. Life is short, shorter for some than others. Enjoy every day you are given.
