    Default Lacrosse Grange Boots

I have never had any of these boots, but I am considering getting a pair. I'm sure there are lots of folks here that have/had them.
Anyway, after reading reviews, they don't seem to be as good as they used to be. I'd like some input from yall. Are they still good or should I avoid them? I like the tight ankle fit cause I have skinny ankles. I did try a pair on and they seemed pretty comfortable.

I have 2 pair. When one of them gets a hole, I will replace them with the same thing.

    Same as SCswampCAT here.

I go back and forth between my other pair of Muck Slip ons that are more "heavy duty' I guess you could say, but the Grange are definitely more comfortable if I plan to be walking a lot.

I have had a pair of Grange boots for 10+ years and still use them. They do have some cracks in them but it's from a lot of controlled burns over the years.

    I use this same boot.

I walked 30+ miles on a moose hunt a year or two ago with them on, majority of it was through bogs and shallow water. No leaks, no blisters, and still going strong.

    Best hunting footwear there is
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

I got mine 3.5 years ago from work. I've put a lot of miles on them. The rubber is starting to crack on mine where the toe meets the foot and bends. I put 3M 5200 on them and keep going.

4.8 lbs per pair for the Burly (uninsulated), 4.5 lbs for Grange, according to Lacrosse website.

Yeah, that's not enough difference to worry about. I'll have to try some of those on.

i've seen you people waste money on really expensive stupid shit.

these boots are like $100. I have the alpha burly and the grange. at least 4 or 5 pairs. i have them in each truck and at the farm. i dont own snake boots or insulated boots for turkeys. that's silly.

go buy two pairs so you never have to run out...
