    Default Dog Food

I'm sure this has been beat to death, but curious what are you feeding your gun dogs? With so many different brands out there now offering grain free, multigrain, select protein, breed specific, etc, etc. What works for your pups? Victor, Diamond, Eukanuba, 4-Health, Purina...

I had good results from Taste of the Wild. It's really how much you want to spend.

Why am I worried about grain free when my dog goes and gets corn from corn piles and out the field?

this made me laugh. I have 2 lab mixes at 10mos old that I have grown to love/hate and have made them farm dogs. The old 2 row new idea left an adundance of corn in the field this year (which didn’t make crap anyway). The deer and birds enjoy it, as do the aforementioned little bastards. My back yard is littered in corn cobs. It’s their morning ritual

    I use Pride Maintenace Formula.
Jakes been on it his whole life, the vet seems ok with it and Jake gets compliments every year on his coat and muscle tone.

Go buy a dart. Any kind and weight will do.

Walk into store that carries dog food. Close eyes. Throw dart.

Whatever bag it stick into, buy that. Feed according to label directions.

My dart landed on Pride Orange. Solid turds, healthy hounds.
