So you're trying to wipe out the doe population on all the properties you hunt? Solid plan Bo

No need for a signed lease with ADQP as long as landowner is on board. You fill out form and put acreage location and owner of the tract you want enrolled. Cut a check and you’re done.

Above Columbia can not tolerate 5 does per person but below Columbia where there is ample food for these goats 10 does per person is not enough. I rode 15 miles to eat supper last Saturday night and saw over 150 deer with the vast majority being does and yearlings based on body size. We need more tags.
Funny how only the people north of Columbia are arguing with you.

And the ADQP argument sounds like something DT would conjur up. Most hunters aren't enrolled in ADQP. The places that have more deer should get more tags. It's not that fucking hard to understand.

But overall doing away with doe day specific tags is a step in the right direction. I love how people are complaining that the government is taking something away from them. They went from you can only kill does on specific dates to, here are two tags you can use whenever you want. And these idiots are complaining about freedom.

It isn't exactly equal. They went from seven free date-specific tags to two free non-date-specific.

Nope but my fawn recruitment is off the charts and my doe to buck ratio is between 8:1 and 10:1.

I'm with Southernduck. We need more tags. We got 90 last year and were hunting more by mid november. That was after they had given us a extra 15 when we had run out at the beginning of November.

But for the normal person who doesn't get quota tags. You could only hunt on certain days for doe. It came to a grand total of 8 days. You had the option of buying 4 any time tags for a measly 20$ I bet most of you found that in your truck!

Now if you will buy 4 tags. You will end up with 8 doe tags that you can use anytime any where.

Charles and I were on the phone just before the original post was made and he acknowledged that YES 2 extra tags will be given out so that makes a total of 8 tags anytime any where.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

BTW the tax on the ADQP may be going up from $50 to $200 and that is regardless of how many acres are enrolled.

So? What this state charges for license fees relative to the rest of the country is laughable.

    You wanna fight?

    I’m merely stating the obvious.

Low license fees, a 4 1/2 month season, literally ZERO way of keeping track of or enforcing limits, and people wanna either bitch about too many deer or not enough deer. Is there any way our legislators or DNR could do any worse than the system that’s currently in place. Seriously, think about it.
