    Default duck pics 2018-19

Interesting season for sure.. birds were here early. Past mid-December nothing but the same. Really had to mix it up to get kills. 3 OOS hunts, and they were all tough. Frozen over in November..Mild temps in December, and high water in January. Just couldn't get it right,, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.. I can honestly say i'm glad it's over. Logged 33 hunts in a 60 day season. Both the wife, and work, will get some attention. Until March 20

The 2 hurricanes washed away both my rice and millet. but the work in progress duck swamp held some mallards, teal, geese for first week or two. Never has there been anything but wood ducks. I will have it properly diked and graded in near future, definitely by the time Luke is old enough to hunt.

Nice. I killed a lot more SC mallards than what I'm used to this year.

Had a friend that hunted Ottawa shooting club this year. What a cool place that is. It’s on my bucket list for sure.

Looks like a great season to me. Looks like you got a hunting partner about ready too. Congrats.
