Browning A Bolt II Stainless Stalker questions

Got a gentlemen wanting to trade me the following in a 270 that looks decent.

Black stock with stainless barrel / no boss system / looks good.

What kinda value would you give it?

I would balk park it $500-$600 depending on condition.

I have that same gun in a short mag and bought it on here for $550 I think.

Started production in ‘94. Not sure when they stopped, some limited models I think are still currently made..

One of the gun gurus may be able to help with that one.

If you have the serial number you can’t date it.....
