Got the whole family up, including my wife, and in the swamp this morning. It was my youngest daughters first time taking a gun, with hopes of getting a shot. But, pretty much like the rest of the season, there were very few birds around. Unfortunately, nothing came in for her to get a shot at. My oldest did manage to get two quick shots off, but didn't connect on either. Oh well, that's part of the game. Hopefully next year will be better.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is,
as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
A little slow this morning.
